International Women’s Day (March 8) is a day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. It is observed every year on March 8 to mark the women’s movement and struggle for equality, society at large. The world has witnessed a significant change and attitudinal shift in both women’s and society’s thoughts about women’s equality and emancipation.
